Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., (conceived October 17, 1984) is a Ghanaian-conceived maker and reggae-dancehall artist. He is known by his stage name Shatta Wale (in the past Bandana), His best known melody is “Dancehall King”, which prompted winning the Artiste of the Year at the 2014 release of the Ghana Music Awards. He ventured out to Jamaica to learn dancehall. Rib acted in the motion pictures Never Say Never and in Shattered Lives.
